D. Casey Hart, DDS, PC - Dentist Marietta GA Dr. Casey Hart grew up down the street from the office and attended Garrison Mill Elementary , Mabry Middle , and Lassiter High School .  After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts at Duke University , he continued his studies at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery.  During his extramural rotations with the Department of Public Health and the University of New Mexico , he realized that he wanted to come back to his hometown after graduation.

On July 12, 2004, Dr. Casey Hart joined the practice that his father had built.  He strives to keep the sense of family that the office has cultivated over the 3 decades before his arrival.

Realizing that his pre-doctoral education gave him a foundation for all there is to learn in dentistry, Dr. Casey Hart has continued his education by joining several study clubs in the Atlanta area as well as finishing the Essential Curriculum at the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL.  He has recently completed the implant continuum with Implant Seminars.  Dr. Casey Hart has followed in his father’s footsteps by being actively involved in several dental organizations.  Some of his offices and memberships are listed below.

Dr. Hart grew up on Long Island in Westbury, New York. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Ohio Wesleyan University , he continued on to Emory University where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. To perfect his craft, he served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corp station at Parris Island, South Carolina.

In 1978, Dr. Hart opened his own professional dental office on Canton Highway which provided the model for how we want our practice to be today. It was his natural aptitude to make people feel at ease, both patients and staff, that created a sense of family. Currently, our family has expanded to include the grandchildren of patients that have been coming here since we opened over 30 years ago.

In order to remain abreast of dental advances as well as new technology in the dental field, Dr. Hart continually attends classes and seminars offered through the Pankey Institute , the Dawson Academy , and the Seattle Institute . He has been actively involved in numerous dental organizations where his accomplishments and successes have been highly recognized. Listed here are some of the honors and offices he has held throughout the years.

Married since 1971, Dr. Hart and his wife Alice raised their three children and have moved to the mountains to enjoy a quieter lifestyle.

Erin-Dental Assistant

In January of 2015, Erin joined our practice with 18 years of experience as a certified dental assistant.   A Georgia native, Erin attended McEachern High School and continued her education at Medix College , where she graduated from the Dental Assisting program with honors.  Erin's favorite part about her career is the lasting relationships she builds with her patients. In her free time, Erin enjoys camping with her family, cheering her children on at their various sporting activities and sitting down with a good book.

With over 25 years in the dental industry, Monica joined our practice in the summer of 2016.  A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Monica and her family moved to Georgia in 2009 and have resided in Kennesaw since.  Throughout her career, she spent years as both a dental technician and a dental assistant but, has enjoyed her transition to the front office and the different experiences it brings.  In her free time, Monica enjoys reading, running, spending time with her husband Ben, and their children, Benjamin Jr and Mina and cheering on her Ohio sports teams.  Go Buckeyes!

Originally from Michigan, Tramell and her family relocated to Marietta 8 years ago and she has been with our practice since.  Tramell loves meeting new faces and the relationships she's built with our patients.  In her spare time, when she's not enjoying a good book on her Kindel, you can find Tramell exploring nature and the Georgia trails.

Karen– Hygienist

With over 25 years of experience, Karen began her dental career as a Certified Dental Assistant, where she grew up in Maryland.  This is when she discovered her true passion for dentistry.  Karen went on to further her education and earned her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Allegany College in Cumberland, MD.  Seeking warmer weather and southern charm, Karen relocated to Georgia.  During her time here, she has continued to advance her career at The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, FL.

With Karen's friendly personality, she enjoys working in a family practice where she can build lasting relationships with patients.  She makes it her priority to provide comfortable care, educate patients based on their individual needs and create a positive experience at every visit.

With her two sons, now grown, Karen and her husband enjoy their free time hiking in the mountains, vegetable gardening, cooking and traveling to visit family.

Sue – Hygienist

She is a New England transplant who has been in the dental field for over 34 years and joined our practice in 2001. She started her career as a Certified Dental Assistant after graduating from Boston University . After being in a private practice as a dental assistant and office manager, she returned to Boston University as a clinical instructor with the Dental Assisting program.

When Sue relocated to Georgia, she completed her Dental Hygiene degree at DeKalb College while working as an office manager at an Endodontic Practice. Her hygiene experience is varied as she has worked in Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics and General Dentistry. Sue enjoys the family atmosphere of our practice and makes it her goal to provide our patients with top quality care which include informing them of how important dental care is to our overall health.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 2 grown sons and husband. She also enjoys going to the gym, gardening and being involved with service organizations through her church.

Joined our team in July of 2008. She earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from West Central Technical College in Douglasville, GA. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships. She takes her time to treat and prevent periodontal disease while educating patients about the connection between dentistry and their overall health. Her gentle touch and caring manner are sure to put you at ease while in the dental chair.

Kristi is a life-long resident of the Atlanta area. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is also devoted to giving lots of love and attention to her beautiful daughter and 3 dogs!
